Power problems - no boost

My car no longer boosts - when I get to positive pressure it bucks and jumps and doesn't go.

Any ideas of what to look at?

Boost leak. First thing to check is the intercooler hoses followed by the inlet. Prob time for a pressure/leakdown. Your turbo could be shot. If you have an egt it may have snapped off and traveled up the pipe into your turbo. If it bucks you might have a fuel delivery problem. Your pump may be going out or fuel filter may be clogged.

Check your intercooler hoses. I've had an IC hose pop off before and the symptoms sound exactly like what you're describing.

It really could be many things with the symptoms you're describing. Take it to a good shop for diagnosis.

thanks all, I was thinking along the lines of fuel pressure....but it could be intercooler. I'll dig around a bit.

everyone pretty much covered it. I had the same thing happen on my car, the turbo inlet hose got worn out and it developed a split/hole or whatever. It's made of rubber and constantly gets really hot, then cold etc. wears out quick
