(paint in good shape, just dirty)

Back in a Subaru! No GC but hey

2005 STI, 110k Miles, bought it for $9000

Needs mostly cosmetic cleanup (poor taste spray painting here and there) and some minor wiring clean up. Otherwise pulls hard, drives really nice

Actually in Colorado but still, bit of a premium on Subarus out here as well.

Guy listed it for 12k which already had me interested. Talked to him for awhile, car sounded good so I asked him for the VIN to do a carfax. He delayed a bit then sent me the accident report; car was rear-ended in 2006 but fixed through insurance etc. Wasn't too expensive of a repair as the car kept its clean title. He I guess felt bad or something, said if I was still interested he would take 10K so I looked at the car and decided to buy.

I didn't have all the money on me to buy so I gave him 5k told him I'd give him the rest this week. He texted me yesterday said he needed rent money, if I gave him another 2k then he would drop the price another grand lol. So I accepted and now I've got a 9k STI.

It is definitely not perfect but at 9000 I can accept its share of issues (pretty much all cosmetic) and enjoy the car lol

YUP! I will be modifying mine because I hear that it actually goes into the oil pan instead of sitting flush...so I will be grinding mine down 2-3 threads .

Nice! Was hoping you would be back in a (swapped) GC of some sort.

Its a well known issue with this but I don't mind as I am going to fix it and I'd rather stay with no mess
