Went and did some track time (Closed Course/Track Driving School:Expert) at an undisclosed location in an undisclosed Subaru.

Never liked those, well let me rephrase, I never liked their mid-backs. Even with a set of really nicely broken in boots they flexed weird.

Then drove to North of Monterey and looked at these, but couldnt buy then since I wasnt told they were off a sedan:



So then I drove to livermore, looked at another truck then drove to San Jose and picked this up:



Went to the Vah-Jay-Jay meet and bought:



Then I bought:


Pretty expensive day, but I got a dash that works, a Cobb AP, 10 cans of white plastidip for $65, and a truck. Not a bad day.

yeah same here, i think it looks kinda cool

 

Some can just be ordered like that with or without the white lettering and some non-directionals have the lettering on one side and not on the other so the shop can put them on either way. I used to have my BFGs with the white letters out in the 90s, but not a fan of it now. To each their own. It was a ***** keeping the white clean too.
