Bought it because we went on a road trip to Santa Monica and needed better audio than the stock unit for the 12+ hours on the road. Sound quality is light years better than the stock unit, but that's not really saying much. iPod/iPhone/iPad interface works perfect. The Pandora interface (works for Spotify, too) is adequate-- only complaint here is you have to unplug the device to create a new station. We have iPhone5s so we couldn't play video from the device, but I read it can be done with iPhone4 and 4S. The bypass for the DVD player was a bit more involved than just grounding the handbrake wire, but I got it worked out.
Another downside is the Bluetooth adapter for this unit is discontinued, so it may be a bit difficult to source.
All in all, for all the functionality (AM/FM, CD, DVD, iPod/iPhone/iPad, touchscreen) for the price (>$300), it can't be beat.
