I work in the bicycle industry so I take advantage of the industry deals. Di 2 is pretty solid vs the original. I want to flash the firm ware to 11spd. This newer di2 is pretty ****.

Me too, at the lowest rung as a mechanic. Quit my Fortune 500 EH&S job to fix bikes while I'm in grad school. I just hate Di2 - seems superfluous and unnecessary. I'm getting a Focus Izalco Pro with a Force group after the 1st. Can't beat the EP deals.

Question tho - with DA 9000 being soooo much better than the 7900 stuff why even bother with electronic?!
