Most people that take care of there car will always let your car idle down and run for a few before turning the car off, those timers are made for turbos that are no water or oiled cooled. Yah they work but a waist of money and time spent hooking the timer up. I guess it's about as cool as a BOV ever thinks they should have!

My new Maddad dp next to my MRT dp that it is replacing. So far it is a huge improvement, but then again the cat is loose in the MRT and bounces around like a cork in the heat shield. It's for sale if anyone is interested.

I really like it. I've been running it with the silencer in and it's quieter than the dual-tip Whisper it replaced without any drone. With the silencer out it's a bit louder, but still reasonable. It sounds deep and mellow, similar to the Prodrive axleback. The fit is great. It isn't stainless, keep that in mind.

Ya, damn bastids cheaped out on the metal. lol but the black looks kinda cool. I'm basically looking for the quietest 3" cbe I can get for when I move to socal. I guess it doesn't help that I'm catless to, but I just don't want to get in the giant line for used whispers and hushes. At least this one is cheap enough to buy new.

I replaced the Whisper with this to keep things quieter, if this helps any. It is cheap -- I got mine for $333 shipped -- car is garaged at night so non-stainless is okay in my case. I know exhaust clips can be pretty useless, but this may give you at least some idea, headphones help.
I have a catted 3" downpipe and an EL header. More info here.

read this post a while ago. On my alarm it has the auto start but i do not have the clutch bypassed. It wont start by itself, but you can hold down the button then remove the key. The motor will stay running for however long you set it for with the alarm on. There have been a couple hot days when I wasnt sure the oil/water cooling would do the trick and i've let the car idle for a few minutes. I can let it auto shut off or manually do it via the remote.

Thanks for the clip, Stan. They always help. The non-ss is a little scary, but the price is good. Is it quieter than your whisper? I don't particularly like using silencers so something quieter without them would be great. How is it without the silencers? I'm going from an invidia n1 street which is fairly loud.
