Possibly got a red light camera ticket...

Just as the title states, I just might have gotten a red light camera ticket tonight. I came to the intersection and stopped for a second and made a right turn, I do this all the time and it might have went off on me this time. I'm hoping that there was another car entering the intersection that caused the cameras to go off.

Well anyhoo, anyone know if ticket assassin works for red light tickets too? or will my stupid mug make it impossible for me to get out of it?

Is it a no right turn on red?

if so your screwed AND YOU DESERVE THE TICKET.

Otherwise, if it was a legal turn, go into court and plead your case.

From the sounds of it, it sounds like you made a legal turn.

MORE DETAILS DEMANDED NOW!!!

It was a legal right turn at a red light I just didn't do a 3 count stop. I just slowed down to a crawl, checked traffic (there was none) and went on my way.

my mom and co-worker have gotten a red light ticket for making a right turn. they will either send you pics or give you link to the pics. There will multiple pics with timestamps. Based on the pics you can pretty much tell whether or not you actually came to a complete stop.

You still have to stop even if there's no traffic. Slowing to a crawl will still trigger the camera since you're technically running the light.

See how long it takes for them to send it - if it takes longer than 15 days, its no longer a legal citation.

My friend got one and told me how he filled in the box that said if this is not you then write who it is. He wrote "My friend Dan" and sent it in. About a year later I got one and I just said it was my mechanic Aaron. They both worked and neither one of us have gotten anything in the mail since about them. This was well over 2 years ago now. Hope that helps.

How did the pics turn out in those tickets SoobiGuy? were they clear? blurry? and no follow ups on finding "Dan" and "Aaron" ? Just might give it a whirl.

There were no follow ups with Dan or Aaron. The pictures were in black and white and a little hazy but clear. Clear enough to see exactly who it was. I say go for it.

I got one of those in Emeryville by the Bestbuy. I was making a run turn and the camera flash. They take 2 pictures between a time interval if the two picture shows that you are making a turn or looks like u are making a turn then you have a case and most likely will be dismissed. Technically the camera is for running red light but what if you stop far behind the line and waited to see no car then proceed. The camera will still flash because it thinks that you are running the light.

I didn't even get a ticket last time for doing that. Unless the photo clearly shows ur face. You can say that your buddy was driving your car and you are not liable for their actions.

Don't even worry about it. Fight it and you will get off. Technically there is no witness just a camera.

if this happened to you in Millbrae near 101, then don't worry about it. The camera is a bit wacky and it takes pictures all day long for anything passing even a little rat crossing the street.
