I totally agree! I never understood why people would buy a WRX and spend all the money to convert the said WRX into an STi lookalike, because no matter what you do your car will NEVER be an STi, it might have the same parts but it wont be an actual STi. The cost involved in the conversion is sooooooo much more than just buying an STi outright in the beginning. I've seen a lot of people attempt this type of swap and I never understood why they would do it... It just seems illogical.
Maybe if they got the WRX for some SUPER low and crazy price (used) and wanted to beef it up with STi bits, but other than that I don't get it...

KBB does offer an option for salvage title... sort of. If you look at the condition options, anything with a salvage title falls into their "poor" category. However KBB doesn't give a price quote because it's impossible to quote for a car like that depending on what happened. So if you go off that, assume it's worth less than the Lowest price they give...
