PC: Used to have to upgrade to something better every time the next version of a series came out. New video card, faster and/or more RAM, SSDs, etc...
PS4: hardware stays the same.
I don't even have a desktop system anymore. All laptops. Hell, I use my phone half the time just to look stuff up these days.

I'm a PC gamer... But got an XBOX 360 last year... I totally regret it... XBL is one of the main reasons.
Def going to get the PS4 over the new XBOX... Pretty sure every teenage kid without $100 to spare will spring for the PS4 as well.
As much as I'd like to support an American company, Sony just provided a better product at a better price, hands down. There literally is no plus side to XBOX at this point... Not one I can think of anyway.

and yes I actually did have that computer, true story
Also, this is why i dont care about consoles, this has been my setup since 2006. When Im not gaming I can be on i-club and have my TV windowed in the corner, dont need to run any separate devices for game/TV/netflix, just run everything through the computer.

I want my games and viewing usually on the HT and I don't really want to do a HTPC. I don't usually game, watch TV and surf i-club at the same time either, but when I do, it is with a laptop next to me
