Sony's E3 this year was ****ing amazinggggggggggg, $399 for a PS4? Shiet, and it beats the xbox in every damn department too.

I'm not sure about you but a majority of my friends are xbl users and the few that are playstation users have an xbox and use their ps2-3 to play single player games for the most part.

Now to the second part, congrats on pre-ordering it :P is the spec sheet complete for the ps because I know xbox may have a few more things coming to it before release

 

Used games + no need to always be online + $100 cheaper = win

 

iswydt lol.. yeah MS busted that thing about used games and always needing to be online it was merely a rumor I heard.. 100 bucks cheaper is a win i must say

 

PS will no longer have free online multiplayer gaming. Similar to XBL, you need PS+ (normal cost is $50/year I think). With the additional income, I'm pretty confident the online aspect will change drastically.

Plus as Wonger said, no used game fees, no daily check ins/authorizations, no required camera and significantly cheaper. While the rumor was always online for Xbox, they did verify daily check ins.

 

As a hardcore PC gamer that doesnt even have a PS3 or Xbox and def wont be getting the next ones I can say with completely no bias that Sony just dropped the bomb on Microsoft

even if they were the same price, all the advantages are with the PS4, at $100 less they are simply going to mop the floor with with the Xbox. There is simply no reason to put up with all of Microsofts bull**** restrictions AND still pay more...

Yes Microsoft put this battle into Sonys lap. But honestly, there were no good exclusive games that Sony showed. 100$ who cares. You own a subaru you can afford 100$ more for a console, and you obviously have a reliable internet connection since you participate on here daily. Like always this battle will come down to who has the better games, this is all bull**** right now, we will see who is the winner when the year is over and the holiday season has ended.

I used to game hard, every now and then I just play Smite, first person MOBA. I don't really get into anything much... I keep lookin at all these other MMO beta-whatever-pay-me-for-game-with-billion-bugs but they all are fail.

In any case, Sony was smart to wait and see what backlash Xbox1 would get with the whole used game cost and logging online junk. Sony basically saw everything the consumer complained about with the xbox1 and beat them all, and then dropped their price 100 bux.

I imagine xbox1 will drop their price near after release to compete with the Playstation.

 

I'm surprised Microsoft did what they did with the x box, it was clear from the reactions to rumours that they would have some serious backlash, but they went ahead and did it anyways.

Sony on the other hand, learned from the mistake of pricey consoles from the PS3.
