Yes Microsoft put this battle into Sonys lap. But honestly, there were no good exclusive games that Sony showed. 100$ who cares. You own a subaru you can afford 100$ more for a console, and you obviously have a reliable internet connection since you participate on here daily. Like always this battle will come down to who has the better games, this is all bull**** right now, we will see who is the winner when the year is over and the holiday season has ended.

$100 not a lot? Not to everyone, but $200 sure sold a HELL of a lot more Wiis than either the Xbox or PS3.
Games are another question - are they still going to be ~$59 or will they go up? If they go up, that will be another big factor. Launch games don't matter as much as some like to claim, but having at least one great game helps sales. People will still buy it, and at that price, I will buy a PS4. If it was $600+ like last time, probably not.

As a hardcore PC gamer that doesnt even have a PS3 or Xbox and def wont be getting the next ones I can say with completely no bias that Sony just dropped the bomb on Microsoft

And I didnt back HD DVD? cmon dude? If someones only reason for choosing the Xbox 360 over the PS3 or visa versa was based on media format theyre ridiculous.

That game looks AMAZING. Between the sensor mine that chased the enemy and blew him up, closing the car door, the AI controlled bot that pointed out the enemy behind the sign so he could be shot through it. I'm in awe. This looks amazing. I'm gonna go preorder the ps4 on my break. Everything with the system seems great
