Prairie City OHV is south of Sacremento, google it for exact directions. We were going to have a meet there this morning before the super bowl, but I called it off. I did so cause not enough people saying they would go and too much rain, so if someone had gotten stuck we wouldn't have been able to get them out.

Next weekend isn't possible, most of the guys that would go are headed down to the Ridgecrest rally school/rallyx.

There will be sanctioned rallycross events around here coming up though. So far plans for events will be Antioch, Vallejo, Prairie City OHV and Thunderhill with some repeat venues.

I wil try to organize another Dirty NorCal meet when I get back from my 2 month patrol in April. Until then I suggest looking around for dirt roads and attending the rallyx's.

Hollister Hills isn't that great for Subarus. There isn't a whole lot of open space or wider roads that would be safe for hijinx. When we went a few years back, we just had radios and someone at the beginning and end of one of the few wider dirt roads. That wasn't very long at all though. We'd be better off going North and hitting up a few roads up there. Much more seat time and a LOT more dirt.

I'd drive to a snowy parking lot before going in the mud!

Cant wait for some RallyX's, i wish i did the Thundercross, since it winds thru the motoX track, like all rallyX's should.

does playing in the mud mean what I think it does? if so, you may want to check out "studs" , "julians palace", and the "corkscrew". best of luck. I didnt think this that kind of site.
