+1 for Belden Place. After dinner, you can go to Voda and have some drinks.
But if you don't mind a walk to Embarcadero and then to a few blocks past the Bay Bridge, you can try Delancey St. Restaurant. Guaranteeed to be under $35 with pretty much all the alcohol you want to drink (their most expensive beer is $3.50 a bottle). It's the cheapest White table cloth restaurant in just about any city and the food isn't bad either.
