My sister has a pitbull she raised from a puppy. She basically treats it like a human, and it's hella smart. I have never seen a dog as good as that one.
for those that care, check out this website...

They are based in So Cal and you might of seen their show on Animal Planet. I have talked to a few people there over the phone and have donated when I could and I am 10000% on board and support what they do. Why? Because no one else will take these dogs and give them a better life. Most shelters wont even bother or just put them to sleep. If I could adopt another 1-2, hell maybe even 3 pitbulls, I would. But with this breed, its difficult. Possible, but difficult.

Irresponsible owners make me sick to my stomach. Ive loved pits all my life and never had an issue with any of them. granted I do admit because of breeding they have an aggressive nature, with proper training they are the most loving and awesome family pets you could ever ask for! here's my little guy (Luve), he makes me smile all day long:

Woman Found Dead In Yard With Severe Dog Bites
COLUSA, Calif. -- A 51-year-old woman was found dead in a Colusa yard on Tuesday with severe dog bites, police said.
Colusa firefighters were called after 7 a.m. to the 100 block of Bridge Street, where Linda Leal was found with "substantial trauma" to her body, police said.
"A mixed-breed pit bull dog belonging to Leal was in the yard," police said in a news release.
The dog was taken away by animal control and euthanized, police said.
Officials said they don't know if the Colusa woman died from a medical condition or if she was killed by a dog.
The situation is difficult to determine, police said, because the woman had several prescription medications.
However, police said the bite marks were so severe, they could have been fatal.
There were two dogs on the property when officials arrived, police said. One of them has a violent history, according to police, but that animal was inside a pen.
Leal was last seen by her husband at about 7 p.m. Monday inside their home, before he went to bed.
One neighbor said she thought she heard what sounded like a dog attack Monday night.
"You know, last night I was standing outside and I heard some screams," neighbor Melissa Delong said.
The neighbor said she called her husband and told him it sounded like someone was fighting.
"We're not really sure what happened, but we think it's sad," family friend Marco Guerrero said.
Leal's husband is not under suspicion in the case.
An autopsy for Leal is planned for Wednesday, police said.
