i wash mine every other week, but i dont' wash it myself all the time. Wax comes every blue moon. I live out in the central valley so there is always dust on my car within the next few days after washing. Never stays clean unfortunately.

I had a Black, '92 Integra RS hatch before I got my White WRX. I washed my integra at least once a week when I had it. Black is the hardest color to take car of to keep clean, silver is the easiest. But black, when clean, looks the best. I got the Integra from my Uncle who lived in SF, so the car had some hard core hard-water spots that were engraved into the paint.... so I know what you mean by when you say it drives you nuts, just make it a routine to wash it often or else you'll end up having the engraved water spots like I had... trust me, they are a pain to make it look like they are not there....

Every week, dried using eagle one's wax as you dry. Does a real good job of keeping the thing shiny and slick between bi-monthly wax jobs and quarterly clay bar sessions.
