Hopefully the Niners offense stays pegging! If they are hitting on all 4 cylinders and boosting 20 PSI with the TECIII in TB, watch out.

I am pretty sure that they just figured out that they are a passing offense. I hope that they don't try to start off running in TB.

TB's offense is no where near the NYG's. Hopefully the secondary can hang together. Alstott is a bus, but he can be stopped.

Everybody had to love the first Niners play from scrimmage! I loved it! T.O. is a phenom. I am so glad that the Niners got a viable replacement for #80. #80 will always be red and gold in my heart and memory!

Andy just used automotive words to enchance football talk... what kind of speed pills does the Navy give you?!? Air Force might want some of those...

J/k buddy

Raiders got Jets and Titans... They just need to hold themselves together. And yes, I wish Al Davis would just leave. He's ruined everything.

from espn last nite:

"i dont know which will win, but it will be a test who has a worse defense (sf) or a worse offense (tb)..."

well that's nice to know...

That pretty much sums it up! Tampa's recievers will be easier to control that thos of NY though. And Johnson is nowhere near Collins in accuracy.

Johnson is VERY underrated, but the other 11 guys on offense there are no-names. Alstott is the most over-rated player in the league. Made the Pro Bowl with less than 900 total yards and played less than half the time. And he still can't block very well. Give me Beas any day.
Anyways, T.O. will have 2 or 3 big plays because Lynch and Brooks are the only guys there who can consistently tackle him, and neither can run with him. If Mooch hands Jeff the keys to the game and says "win", we have a good chance. If he tries to play keep-away with the ball against that D, we're in for a 15-12 dogfight, which we don't have the hosses on D to win. Give me 2 more JP's though, and we'd have a top 3 defense! That guy can flat out play. Can't wait to see him next year when there is another LB on the field who can cover anybody but Greg Clark so Julian can play his real game and freelance more. And if we walk into Tampa and win, why would Philly be any different?
