thats not cool,but if they make it hard for you to make a living you have to do something.just assuming you own a farm or something like that.

 

That is really messed up. There wouldn't be a problem with the farmers and the prairie dogs if we hadn't killed off the animals that ate the prairie dogs. Always funny the way farmers and ranchers say that they are trying to make a living (which is fine and all), so they go out and kill everything on their land. What they don't realize is everything around you keeps the land strong. Seemingly insignificant things can have a dramatic impact. If I destroyed all the phytoplankton in the ocean, probably every living thing on this planet would die. It goes up to distrupting local food webs. Example: killing off wolves kills off whole populations of salmon. How would the absence of wolves cause this?! Without the wolves, their prey population goes up...deer for instance. The deer population goes up and they eat and eat and eat. Local vegitation begins to dissapear and when it rains, more soil is runoff into rivers. The extra silt begins to distrupt the breeding areas of salmon and thus, salmon begin to die off. I can go on and on.
