Awesome dog, any advice for me on training my 1.3 yrd old husky. THe main problems I have are;

If someone leaves door open or she has a chance she will bolt and run away, usually she will chase u around and eventually you can grab her but this is the scariest thing ever because its all taken place on main road and shes dodging cars.

She comes most the time in the house unless she has something, and if i just call her randomly she will always show up; however outside when she is loose in the yard etc... she won't come until she feels like it and theres no catching her.

That stripe going down your Ausie's nose is sweet. Actually, the markings in general have a very unique, free-flowing, abstract thing going on.

Looks like a funny, happy, cool dog.

lol....i guess thats the most difficult part of training huskies. cuz i have the same problem with my 11 mo old boy too. and he ran away couple times too. i asked some of my friends who have huskies too, they said that the husky is just too independent and they are too curious about outside world. its just their natural i guess.

i went to petsmart and K9 to training him when hes about 6 mo old and it doesnt work well. and i dont know what to do either. so i kinda gave up now...just keep him in the house and walking him every morning and nite about one hr.

yeah i guess its common. I'm going to buy a remote shock collar so i can buzz her when she bolts or she will get nailed. Also eventually want to do zapping/electric fence around the yard for digging out. My vet whom we've used for a long while said if thats the case then don't let her run wild in the back yard until she will obey you back there and until she won't try and escape. easier said than done. she goes crazy without some free roam. oh well.
