LOL, yea, he loves going on suby rides. He sticks his big head out the window and and the lip flaps all over the place.

 

Oreo, My over weight 75 pound Australian cattle dog/ sheppard mix. He wasn't too happy about the jersey pic,(He's obviously an Australia fan) but i have to throw out the Italia as much as possible

 

God he must hate you after the Italians cheated the Australians in the world cup in like the 90th min of that game with a penalty kick where you could clearly see there was zero contact made. Italia soccer blows

 

I didn't mean really making fun of me. But do you have any advice....shes pretty ruthless but only 1.3 years old.

my girlfriend and i have a condo, so we had to get a small dog...

I think shih tzus have a good personality for a small dog but the GF thinks they're a bit ugly as adults I won out on dog choice...though I think this is the only argument I've won in quite some time!

 

haha nice we also live in a small place so thats why we have small pups he wants more but i put the foot down to that haha.

 

well, sounds corny, but buy a book....there's a lot of 'styles' to train a dog, but pick one and work through it. I didn't use it, but I heard the 'clicker' is a great way to train a dog.

1) Best advice....'be consistent' in everything you do. don't want the dog on the couch? NEVER let him on the couch.....dogs don't get when its ok to be on the couch 'now'....but not 'later.'

2) super hyper? (like my dog was)....get a crate/cage. sounds mean, but its a great way to teach a dog to relax/chill out at certain times (like when you just get home, door bell rings, etc). When they start to freak out...send'm to the cage until they calm down.

3) Don't repeat. Do you have to say 'sit' 5 times before you yell, SIT, and then she sits? that's because she's learned she doesn't REALLY have to sit until the 6th time. (dogs can count!)

Say, SIT...once.....then make her sit. that's it.

oh, and treats.....lots and lots of treats.

I always laugh wen my dog does that, but I have a Basset so he gets the ears into the mix too
