Actually, Bobby was just teaching the jiujitsu and training. IMHO Dave Camarillo is a much better JJ instructor.

My friend trained at fairtex for over a year and decided that the drive was too much. He works in san jose at southwest and some of the employees trained at aka. He has now been training at aka for about half a year. At the recent Brazilian JuJitsu tournament a few guys from fairtex were there talking with me and my friend. They said that fairtex was losing some of their good fighters. They also said, that fairtex has been going down hill since Alex Gong was murdered. It sucks too, because fairtex was such a good school.

You think you're good? You are pretty crass I'll have to say.

By the way you talk, it's also evident you haven't practiced any kind of traditional martial art for very long. Because people who have the all around skill that traditional martial arts teach, simply don't talk smack like you do

Don't go off with some BJJ crap. When I did BJJ I was taught, and more respect for others outside our gym was enforced than almost everyother MA school I've observed or practiced in.

You think I'm crass? Oh no!!!1!111!!ONE! I'm gonna go cry in shame and fear of your BJJ now! See? I talk smack to everyone. Don't take stuff so personal, dude. My response to whoever that was, was a joke. I was being facetious.
Fa*ce"tious\, a. [Cf. F. fac['e]tieux. See Faceti[ae].] 1. Given to wit and good humor; merry; sportive; jocular; as, a facetious companion.
I'm sorry that it failed to reach you. Maybe it made someone else chuckle. If you still think I'm being "crass" from my comments about other martial arts back on the first page, I'll refer you to the definition of opinion:
o·pin·ion (-pnyn) n.
A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof.
Now to answer your question. I have studied 1 year of traditional Aikido, 2 years of TKD, 2 years of Judo, and 4 years of traditional Shaolin (Si Lum) BTW, I don't think I was being "crass" at all. There's nothing unrefined about me.
crass (krs)
So crude and unrefined as to be lacking in discrimination and sensibility

Right, I understand. I didn't take anything personal, you didn't say anything offensive to me. I was only erked by your response to 04ScoobyRex, which was pretty random, since all he said was not to be partial (albiet in a somewhat quickly worded way). Being "facetious", like sarcasm, is pretty hard to detect on the internet unless you attach a ::

If anyone is interested, my buddy Mike Roberts teaches muay thai in Santa Cruz. Mostly pad drills but definitely not "Cardio Kickboxing". Plenty of elbow, knee strikes and low round kicks. Info at: http://www.claudiofrancabjj.com
