I totally wanted to join there for the longest time... I've taken all sorts of various martial arts, and to be perfectly honest with you, I'm tired of the routines and fixed positions. Krav Maga has really struck my interest. I went from Tae Kwon Do (only for about a year), to Praying Mantis kung fu, to Wing Chun and Choy Lay Fut (took those two for the longest period). Anyhow... the reason I haven't joined is because I can't afford to drop $120 a month
Maybe one day.

Oooh sdi is gonna have Bas Rutten there. Former King of Pancrase, UFC heavyweight champion and Pride FC commentator. I checked out his classes over at Beverly Hills Jiujitsu and that man is amazing. I've trained in Brazilian Jiujitsu and muay Thai for years but I have never seen anyone as good as Bas is.
Hmm.. those guys remind me of ricer cars at hot import nights = all show, no go.

Most of the stuff in the video would be useless in a fight, but they were just doing it for show. Kicks are pointless unless you really know what you are doing. If not, then all you're going to get is a broken femur or busted knee from your opponent. Most martial arts seem to be just for show now days. Still, it was a cool vid to watch.

I can't believe you just said that.
Wing Chun is NOT for women... it was created by a woman who didnt believe in the traditional ways of martial arts. All wing chun is, is close quarter combat. It's super aggressive, and not flashy at all. You know Bruce Lee took wing chun before he created his own art? (Which was still loosly based on Wing Chun).
I do agree that TKD sucks... (For fighting).
Choy Lay Fut is not for show... sure they have some flashy moves and such... look at it as a sculpter... they sculpt away clay to reveal the true art. Much can be said with most martial arts. If you don't want to use the "flashy" moves, you don't have to.
