Opinions on tint....

I'm going to Omega in Livermore tomorrow for Christmas to get my windows tinted. I was wondering what everyone's opinion on what shades of tint that looks ok.

I was thinkin' about 35% on the Driver/Passenger, and either 20% or 5% for the three rear windows. Or maybe 35% all around? I'm not sure, someone halp me and hopefully you can have some pictures too...

i have 35% in the front and 25% in the rear. IMO this is a nice and smooth transition from light to dark. Im at work right now but i'll try to post pics when i get home.

Thumbs up

I've got 35% on my front two windows and 20% on the rear five. I like it a lot, but if I was going to do it again I'd do 20% all around. You can't really tell the difference between the front two and the rear ones, but I think I'd just like it a little more if it was a hair darker on the front two. I can't imagine having a tintless vehicle anymore.

20% seems pretty risky. I already feel nervous with 35% around. I guess it depends on which city you are in.

I have limp tint in the back 3 and 35 in the front 2. I haven't been stopped for them. . . I love it. Out of your options I would choose 35% all around. Good Luck

P.S. For pics on my tint go to Gallery and search "Bertha" thats what she is named

since vincent did 35% all around on my wgn, i'm a little biased toward that set-up. sorry i don't have any pics. also, i'd have to agree w/ hokusai on 20% all around being a little risky. btw, i think 4XREX has the 35front-20back on his sedan & that looks clean as well.

Yea that was me, I'm probably going to go 35% Driver/Passenger. And either 20% or 5% for the last 3. Cool to see ya show up with some sprinkles in the air! Thanks for the reindeer too! (Yes that's right guys.. she brought special reindeers for the people at the meet!)

I just don't think 35% is dark enough for the rears. It's all personal opinion, so just go with what you think looks best. My sister got her '01 Legacy GT tinted at 35% all around and it looks really nice, just not dark enough for my tastes. I also live in Oakland where they couldn't give two ****s about tint
