Any time I report someone for something like this I stay behind them until a cop can intercept even though they tell me not to follow, I just say that they happen to be going where I'm going. I've gotten people nabbed twice already.

Good job on reporting that *****, hope she slams into a tree.
I followed her to her apartment. Talking to dispatch... Since I know the game. I "stood" next to her car door till pd showed up. They then were able to take her out of the drivers seat and gave her a few tests she failed bad on. In the process she admited to driving, and having a open containers in the car.

Had I not "stood" next to the car she would have walked. Since no pd would have seen her in the drivers seat she would have got away.

While I hope all DUI drivers shoot themselfs... I hate to see these aholes on the road. I'll go out of my way and time to help get them off the road. Its just scary as I never want to see anyone get hurt including them. The lane swarving scares the crap out of me not being able to control them. Or maybe I am just scared for their car....

Wish 911/chp woulda picked up when I was tailing a hit & run perp. I found a local P.D. officer responding to an apparent fatality in a home with 3 other units, got told to clal the non emergency number. feh

P.S. - Wouldn't it be nice to get a 'get outta jail free' card of some sort for doing the duty? I mean, we pay our taxes because we have to, and can usually get some sort of refund.

Thus if its our duty to report drunk drivers, the transitive property says that the govt should pay it forward somehow.

^ Not in your case - that DD deserves to be tied and quartered, revived and then burned in a magnesium fire.
