I want to paint my rifle but I'm not sure how to go about doing it without screwing it up? Has anyone painted theirs before?

both are 100% California legal!

 

I've used Rustoleum camo paint with good success. Just make sure you remove ALL oil or grease before you start painting. Several light coats work best. You can also use leaves or mesh for stencils to give it that 3D look.

Thanks for the replies. Looking at those pics makes me want to start painting. I'm going to gather up the materials and get started this weekend. Hopefully it turns out nice like the ones posted.
