ok... question about traveling..

i am going to mexico.. what can i not bring on board as far as liquids go?

eyedrops? toothpaste? water? etc etc...

what a bunch of bull**** these laws are.. one attempt to bomb a plane with a liquid bomb.. and the guy was caught.. and now we can't have liquids.. what bull****.

maybe they should ban methane gas too.. and tackle us if we fart.

any links to official websites that explain the rules?

Those restrictions are only for carry-on. Just pack whatever you need in a checked bag and quit whining.

You can find the details of the rules at the FAA (www.faa.gov), TSA (www.tsa.gov) or on the website of any major airline.

In a ziploc bag too, IIRC.

I just don't bring any liquids aboard anymore. Suck it up, you can buy it after the 1.5 hour plane ride

Is someone whining? The laws are pretty stupid.

As far as checking/not whining - American Airlines lost my luggage 5 times. United only 2x. Iberia once. The rest have been cool but you take your chances. Most people I know that travel a lot HATE to check luggage for all of the obvious reasons, but now must unless they want 3 billion teeny little shampoo bottles and etc etc etc.

If you are not irritated by the rules regarding travelling then that probably means you don't travel.

Those rules are bull****, nothing more than an illusion to trick the sheeple into believing they're safe. They're also intrusive, annoying and they put people into a tough choice; check your bags which are likely to have things stolen from, or worse lost all together OR follow Draconian feel good 'laws'.

That said, it ultimately is the individuals choice to fly. So either follow the rules, try to change the rules or find some way else to get from A to B. No point in raising your blood pressure over something you can't change.
