71 Documented cases on one make of car on ONE website. How many do you think went undocumented on the site?
This should seriously be an issue repaired by SOA. It's obviously a manufacturing issue and when it fails it's catastrophic.
I will NEVER by an 06 STI or the motor out of one. Screw that noise.

no if you look at the thread and the poll there are categories for 02-05 wrx, etc.. but the sti's are broken up by individual year. It has the most cases of all by a staggering amm, most cases reported on nasioc anyways. You also need to keep in mind the lower production.
