This is a minor issue that we will quickly resolve for our customer. It's not like we sent out a car with a major oil leak from the pan or between the block halves

Hey Ed. FYI I haven't noticed anything different on the dip. It's minor but is a nuisance. I have a pan under it for now. TIA for resolving it. See you at the shop.

Twice the price on a couple clamps is still a few bucks. I personally wouldn't try to save a few bucks on a $10-15k build if it caused issues and future head aches for me. I simply use what works best no matter the cost.

I do agree the hose itself may be the problem. Like I said, we will check it out and get it resolved. Simple as that

You posted about it yourself not too long ago so I figured you'd remember?

Sometimes, we screw up. - i-Club

BTW, was the "defective sealant" OEM Subaru sealant or a cheaper alternative?

Car is at Eq getting that line replaced now while I'm in Sacramento/folsom. I'm thinking at least intercooler and possible turbo removal but Ed said he has done a replacement without removing the turbo. It's funny how a minimal oil leak could be such a pain to get to.

So Ed pulled the turbo to inspect it. The flange on the hard line was leaking. He has macguyver'd an OEM hard line onto the blouch turbo which is reportedly tougher than the one provided by blouche. It was done last night but i wont be able to pick up til this afternoon. Im assuming its all good. Haven't heard that its not ready as of yet.

Just put some miles on it and it looks all good. It looks like the flange on the oil return hard line was warped and the thick gasket that Blouch uses was no longer able to take up the slack causing a leak that got progressively worse. One thing I can say is that it definitely was not the clamps
