I sense it won't be as exciting as originally shown. But much like the gr it will get better w the next face lift.

wow.. might as well just keep the 2013 wrx. the body style looks the same. if anything the 13 sedan body looks more aggressive. I have a feeling its just a minor body lift over any performance change.

They've already said it is a new chassis. For Subaru though, that generally means "we tweaked the old one we've been using for the last 10 years" Not that that's a bad thing either. If you look at the BRZ and Impreza chassis, you will get a good idea of what the WRX/STI chassis will look like, with minor tweaks.

its...lost its soul. I don't like it, then again I HATE any forester after 08, and the hatchback STI was an abomination.

You're probably right. The new WRX/STI chassis will probably be a tweaked version of the current chassis. The BRZ chassis is a tweaked Impreza chassis and the BRZ handles REALLY WELL. I'm sure we'll see some of BRZ chassis magic in the new WRX/STI.

You can't even see the whole car yet and already claiming you don't like it? Seems like they captured quite a bit of the prototype look to me, though even the prototype looks a little late 90s Mustang-ish to me. Still, I liked the look of the prototype.

I LIKE the look of the current STI wagon; I prefer it to the sedan.

No cr4p. Hard to believe people are already chiming in with the "I don't like it" stink. It happens every time a new generation of the car comes out so I'm not entirely surprised. To each their own.

I also prefer the hatch.

I just can't see the fender width and vent being that large, that looks totally photoshopped.
