They've already said it is a new chassis. For Subaru though, that generally means "we tweaked the old one we've been using for the last 10 years" Not that that's a bad thing either. If you look at the BRZ and Impreza chassis, you will get a good idea of what the WRX/STI chassis will look like, with minor tweaks.

You can't even see the whole car yet and already claiming you don't like it? Seems like they captured quite a bit of the prototype look to me, though even the prototype looks a little late 90s Mustang-ish to me. Still, I liked the look of the prototype.
