Look at how poorly the Giants are doing right now. Last in hitting (team batting average of .235) and last in pitching (team era over 6). Yah I know it's only pre-season, but everyone's been complaining that there's no power in the lineup and now Bochy is talking about it too.

If this is a sign of things to come, Giants won't make the playoffs either.

i am not even watching Spring ball. I am just looking at the teams from last year to now. Dodgers moved sideways at best, more likely went down, Padres moved up, and Giants went down a little bit, not by a whole lot.

 

If Matt Cain can get back to 2012 form then our pitching staff would be pretty strong
