What are you talking about? He went 15 for 20 with no fumbles or interceptions. Im pretty sure Harbaugh is doing this to build his confidence. Ive been an Alex Smith supporter for a long time and catching flak for it but today he played great. It came down to the coach making the decision to run the ball entirely too much when Seachickens had momentum but Im glad Ginn gave us the win.

He didn't play great, he played too conservative and safe with a bunch of low risk passes. Gore and Ginn played great, not Alex, he played like a back up.

You can't win consistently with <150 yard passing. It may have worked against Seattle who looked very bad, but that won't fly against Dallas next week. Alex needs to stop being babied like a rookie. He needs to step it up. He's been given far too many chances to being playing that kind of prevent offense.
