Barely much time into the 1st quarter and the OL looks horrible, Alice fumbles a snap in shotgun formation (I'll give him partial credit since the guy playing center has never played that position before), Alice throws a low and incomplete pass to an open Vernon Davis, and Alice gets sacked hard from behind.

Say what u want about the lack of practice, but so far this offensive line and Alice aren't very confidence inspiring going into the season.

The only guy producing so far is Frank Gore

 

Alex Smith's first five times dropping back to pass: incompletion, incompletion (hit as threw), sack, incompletion, sack

 

1st quarter: Alice Smith sacked 2 times
2nd quarter: Colin K. sacked 3 times with 5 min left in the quarter

Offensive line way worst than last year.

 

No injuries. I'm happy

Justin Smith is the only reputable one in the group.

 

Based on what I saw it looks like Camp Alex definitely helped with the timing of the offense.

The 49ers need a veteran at QB somewhere. Happens all the time where there isn't a good QB present. A bunch of rookies and alice smith... ain't gonna cut it.
