Lucky win, but I'll take it.

 

If the o-line and Smith play the way they did in the 3rd quarter we could win the superbowl...but it was just a fluke, at least they looked a hell of a lot better in the 2nd half. Plus our red zone defense in the 1st half saved us from the Eagles scoring A LOT more.

 

1st halfs are so fail. Everything is about the 2nd half, and the adjustments and momentum. 49ers picked up 3rd, and should have moved the ball again to lead. Got lucky with the FG misses, but everything in the NFL is all about capitalizing on mistakes by other teams.

49ers looked a lot better, 2nd half speaking. Looks like they're putting together SOME of the pieces. IMO the 1, 2 punch of Hunter then Gore really looks strong for the run game and the flat passes for a quick Hunter to burst.

 

Niners are favored by 3 against Tampa. They got destroyed last year 21-0. This is a different team and I like the way they are playing.

I like that they're winning, I don't know if I'd commend the way they play the game, at least from a spectator's standpoint.

Glad to see bay area football climbing back out of the gutter into relevancy again. I say that assuming the Raider's defense doesn't get any worse than it is.

 

The pretty games will not happen for a while. Remember there wasn't that much of an offseason. The offense is still evolving and will come along eventually.

 

Hope so. Things are definitely on the uptick and there's no glaring reason why these guys can't win the NFC West.

I'm still no fan of Alice Smith, but if they make the post season under his watch, then so be it.

 

Dont worry Alex will win you all over!!!! My girlfriend tried to find me a Alex Smith jersey but they dont exist apparently. Figured Id be the one and only guy that sports his jersey haha.

Anyway if we can stop Blount and pressure Freeman enough, I see us winning this. It was pretty ridiculous watching him carry the Colts entire defensive line on his back and drag them for an extra 10 yards.
