I'll try to put a feedback thread up today so people can hammer on it all weekend.
It's basically a place for people to say... he this worked... this didn't work. Lets try this. Etc etc.
Some of it gets listened to and some of it doesn't. LOL. I've been *****ing and moaning in the annual feedback thread for 10 years so I guess it's time for me to listen to it. LOL!

absolutely nothing. I liked the hammy location for this year for that reason. To show the noobs what the old school i-club used to be like. A big family.
I'm still very much for the grass roots deal. Where it ends up will be vendor friendly, food friendly and most importantly family friendly.
One of the big complaints from this year will be how spread out everyone was. I want everyone together next year. Filling 5 parking lots is cool and all but I'd rather fill up 1 huge *** parking lot.

I'm still a noob so I can't speak much on previous BAMs. But this was better than last year.
Caravans are the best part of them. The rest for me is to fill my car with non subie owners and watch their faces light up. BBQ and relax.
Camping style.

The parking would be literally my only complaint.

Yeah. In my opinion, hammy has ALWAYS been the best location. If hammy had wifi/3g/4g and another 100 spots I'd do it there in a heart beat.
But hell... there's nothing stopping us from doing smaller scale meets up there every couple months. We used to do them all the time.
If they make space for another parking lot we'll do it. LOL!
BUt I'm glad you liked it. This is the vibe that I wanted to bring back. Alameda gave us the same vibe as EVERY other car show event I've ever been too. The park in Navato was rad but they were douche's too us both years there and they have a parking issue as well.
But to tell you the truth one of the ideas I'll be kicking around with the crew for next year is setting up a rotating venue spot.
Pick 3 solid spots and rotate the event every year. There are ups and downs to the idea. But that way no one can complain about location. Don't like to drive across the bay from the north to the south... well next year you won't have to... don't like to drive from south to north... next year you won't have to. Etc.
Hell, I'd like to do possibly 4 and find a spot by the ocean that'll work... in santa cruz. Take over Capitola or the drive ins or something in santa cruz. LOL. Lots of ideas.

To think in the beginning we were small enough to just occupy the observatory parking lot.

And with alameda it's a bit harder to convince people to pay $20 to look at cars and access the venue. It's a bit over done IMO. We aren't that upscale! Haha.
Santa Cruz would be so sick.

I highly advise starting out way early. Make a run up to the top. Check out the observatory... then make a run down the back side in to livermore. It's one of the best road drives in the area. Just don't drive too crazy. LOL.

One of the suggestions that was brought up by me also. Only thing, they may require event staffing. Every year we have LEO, medical and fire staff there all day. With the numbers were at now it may be required, worth a try asking though because the space is gigantic, its dead center to everyone, you get scenery, and easy to set up.
