Jonathan Sanchez placed on 15 day DL list. Zito will take his place.
Sanchez has said he feels fine, but Bochey probably made up some injury due to Sanchez's lack of performance (and the fact that he walked so many hitters).

Interesting win today with the balk, I barely caught it when it happened..glad it happened becuase hitting was going well, pitching great as usual...

I agree two really good games....we will lose a couple and people will start screaming for a bat again, but in reality we really have nothing to worry about. Winning the NL west is almost a certainty, we just have to worry about the post season and maintaining our lead. The home field advantage we have at AT&T will always keep us putting up some numbers in the W column.
We really have a shot at this to repeat IMO, we've all seen how great pitching/good offense humbles these big bat teams, and keeps the runs low. Go Giants!

Zito looked pretty good too (yes, we all know he's overpaid for what he's done, but he's still going to have to be part of the mix so let's show him some support (or at least a bit less negativity)).
