Been almost 3 weeks so far on a partial P90X workout sched. Haven't been able to adjust my diet to keep losing weight, been eating relatively the same, but I might have to cut my portions down some since I'm only doing 4 of the videos and replacing the others with hiking/running/biking.
I think I can cut down some of my calories to get to my new goal of 175, which is really my ideal weight. Still at 185 for the time being.
Going to start up the full P90X routine again come October.

There was a news letter on beachbody's site that has the "Mass up with P90x" part of it. They do the things in p90x different times during the week focusing on hypertrophy.

Definitely going to follow that routine next round.

Still doing a partial P90X routine but finally losing some more weight. Got down to 179 and hoping to lose a few more.
Got my trip to Half Dome all set up. Got about 7 more weeks to get my *** in gear for that hike. I was 225 lbs when I went to Yosemite last July and couldn't hike more than a few miles. This July I plan on being 175 (that's 50 lbs lighter) and hiking Half Dome, the toughest trail in the park (~16 miles round trip).
Here's a pick on one of my hikes last summer:

Here's a pick from yesterday after Kenpo X:

I still almost ate whatever I wanted, but I would hit the gym at least 3-4 times a week doing cardio and circuit training. I also added more weight training to strengthen parts of my body that I feel I would use the most. I try to eat at least 130g of protein on days I do work out. On off days, I try to keep it around 80-100g of protein (if possible, eating to get fit is expensive!). I realized that was part of the flaw of my regime when I would rarely eat any more than 90g of protein. The only supplements I'm taking are OxyElite Pro (thermogenic fat burner with a bit of caffeine stimulant) and two scoops of ON whey protein (double rich chocolate FTW). The fat burner is taken within moderation, as with anything that could potentially harm myself if abused. So I follow strict guidelines and take 'em exactly as I should according to the bottle and I won't take anything else with it (people on a body building forum would stack this stuff with Jack3d and what not, CRAZY!).
From about February to April, I pretty much plateaued at 167-169. I even gained some weight after not hitting the gym for almost 2 months. I just got back on track and with the help of OEP, as of today, I'm actually at my driver's license weight (165lbs). This is incredible because I think I actually lied when I wrote down my weight at the DMV 12 years ago. So last year I was at 190-193ish because I stopped working out and relied mostly on my own will power as far as food goes. So, not bad since hitting the gym for the first time ever last August. I'll probably slim down more when I start getting back on basketball drills this summer with some friends during the weekends. I tell ya man, people look at me nowadays like I'm a totally different person. It's pretty awesome. As far as clothes go, I donate mine to my other friends who've gone from XL's to L's. I have a friend who had a ton of stuff in medium that he donated to me because he slimmed down to a small (he's about 5'7", BTW, I'm 5'9").
My whole goal with this journey is to find a way to shed weight, have good will power with food, understand moderation, eat at the right times, and still enjoy what I eat without sacrificing a whole lot. Just making adjustments or working around certain things. Mainly discovering other ways food is flavored outside of salt and fat as well as ways to hack foods at restaurants that are normally bad for me by substituting ingredients upon order. For example, when I get a burrito, it's all black beans and meat. No rice. Sorry for the long post. LOL. I was so giddy when I weighed myself today, I just kept stepping on the scale multiple times to make sure it wasn't the scale's error or I stepped on it with one leg or something. I still have that lower ab flab I need to get rid of. I'm not looking for a six pack, I just want it to be relatively flat in general.

i lost 20 grand from pain killers.

My diet : only whole weat, except for hi Glycemic Index carbs right after a work out, with whey protein isolate. Casein protein at night, with peanut butter and longer digesting fats.
Purple Wraath for EAA and BCAA's, also EFA's. Never fat and carbs for same meals, always protein and fats (before lunch and before sleep) or protein and carbs.
carb curfew at 7:00pm
thinking of throwing jack3d as a pre workout stim, but I might be getting acne from it.
other than that: enough rest, good 1-2 hour gym visits, and 3 20mile bike rides is keeping me in good shape.
I've lost 20 lbs in the last 3 months by cutting soda, excess sugars, white carbs.
eating 6-8 meals a day is right, keep them small.
lots of fruit and vegi's - vitamix is the bomb for shakes
etc etc.

Jack3d works, but I wouldn't drink it anytime after 12pm. I wouldn't be able to get to sleep. Works great in the morning about 30-45 minutes. I set my alarm around 4:30am to drink it and then in 30mins I'm good to go.
I tried to drink it at 4pm when I got home from work and workout right afterwards.... couldn't sleep at night, or I'd keep waking up.

I'm going to look into drinking some Casein Protein shakes at night. Getting a decent amount of protein everyday is pretty hard (and costly!). I've never consumed this much protein before. I used to think I had to eat less, but spread out the meals, I kinda had it wrong. I just decided to eat more and more often as long as the amount of protein is working. I still eat carbs, it's just that I just eat way more protein than before.

Means a lot less carbs in the diet, that's a tough one for many folks as there are overloaded carbs in almost all restaurants and/or promoted on TV.

I'm staying more along the lines of Tony's approach to dieting...

Replacing my cardio videos with some good old fashion running.
I've got some nice trail running shoes for the dirt trails, but if anyone has suggestions for regular running shoes, I'm all ears.
EDIT: Found some shoes. Went with Nike Pegasus+ 26. Good cushion and fit and it's great for the Nike+ Ipod kit I already had

So what else is going on in the iclub fitness realm?????
I started training back in October for a Half Dome hike. Turns out I trained way more than I needed since I'm not going till going next month. At this point I feel I can hike Half Dome in my sleep.
It's all great though, I lost 40lbs in the process and got a lot more active.
