Anybody know of any internships that are in the finance related field? Looking for finance related internships like investment banking, real estate investments, Hedge funds, private equity, etc. I'm currently a 3rd year undergrad.

Just start applying around to big name companies like Cisco, etc. Anything in the silicon valley you can use as experience. Even if its free. That is the key to getting hired when you do get a degree. THE EXPERIENCE!

The tests are not too bad if you are mechanically inclined. One example is if you have five gears in a row and you turn the first gear in one direction, which direction does the last gear turn.

 

Any personal experiences working at Wells? I'm an economist by degree (BA, UofAZ Dec '08) and have almost obtained a certificate of Accounting from the UC Berkeley extension, but I'm just working as a bookkeeper at the moment. While I like my job it could a) pay a little more and b) be more directly related to a career, because bookkeeping isn't it (for me at least), and I keep thinking it might be time to start looking for a change.
