The Official "Find me a Job Thread"

***MODS PLEASE MAKE THIS A STICKY***

We have this in the TXIC section on Nazicock and it has helped a bunch of people out.

Basically, you post up your information, and what kind of job you are looking for etc. etc...

Other people can look in the thread, and if they have a job opening at their work, or know of positions at other places, they can help you out.

Several people in TXIC have gotten jobs this way.

Post up!

I'll go first,

I have a B.A. in Creative Advertising (TAI Method Creative) with a Minor in Psychology from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX

Software:
Adobe InDesign
Illustrator
Photoshop

Microsoft Office

Experience:
Worked as a contract mechanic and marketing consultant for AWD Tuning in Dallas, TX for about 2 years. Mostly worked as a mechanic pulling motors, doing installs etc.

Looking for any job really, putting advertising on the back burner while I finish my portfolio and looking for anything that can pay the bills. Not really looking for any jobs as a mechanic, but if you know anyone or anywhere that is hiring jobs in any marketing positions etc. let me know. I will also take anything I can get! No matter what field.

You can post up some basic info, then post up for people to PM you if they want the resume, kind of like I just did.

Except this is i-club.com/BAIC so its local, and one of the best way to get jobs is by knowing someone or getting hooked up, a lot easier than a site like linkedin.

Plus this method has been proven to work, so STFU if you're not going to help out the community!!!!!
