For the record, I (the general manager of EQ) asked our friends/customers to move away from the crowds to do their thing even though they are perfectly legal to do so. And the fact that I personally am a disabled veteran that uses marijuana when im not at work...so does anybody want to challenge me on that?!

I mean its not like I was contributing to a minor or anything...

For everyone else's information, we have a very strict anti-drug and anti-alcohol policy for all employees of the company. No employee is allowed to be under the influence of alcohol or any other drugs during business hours and/or while working on a customer's vehicle. What they do on their off time, however, is entirely their own business as long as it doesn't effect their work performance.
Dude, I don't know...but why so serious?

It's called "light hearted banter", hence the Cheech and Chong video.

My god, are you that uptight and insecure about you partaking of the Sweet Mary Jane!?!

You had no problem being (allegedly)high as a kite at my shop.

Here's about the funniest video about drinking beer.

Paul, "dude", you know just as well as anyone else who frequents this forum that nothing you say in regard to me or my business is "light hearted banter." Your inflammatory comments have the potential for costing my company business and reputation, so I will respond accordingly when necessary.

You had no problem being (allegedly)high as a kite at my shop.
Who alleged that? I don't remember ever being at you shop under the influence of any drugs (including alcohol for that matter).

I do, however, remember a certain former employee of ours showing up to work "high as a kite" once. He was then let go and I believe he has now found employment at another local shop...

Thanks
-- Ed

FYI, this statement is what an employment lawyer would call an Employer's Breach.

I don't believe the problem is of said smoking. It's the fact that it was done in and around other people and not off away from people who brought their kids to the meet cause it's a family BBQ picnic environment.
