so i dont know if this was answered by i<3 subie yet but... is there only one category for the show? i mean we can do liek best bug eye, best peanut eye, best hawk eye and so forth or best sedan and best wagon or something like that... seems like there is only 1 trophy/category.

1. Best overall
2. Best Sedan
3. Best wagon/hatch
Even then, the same person can win both times, and I'd like to even it out a bit more... So it'd have to be something like:
1. Best overall
2. Cleanest ride
Maybe one other one, but it wouldn't be model specific, that being too specific. Its much easier to have one or two categories for the sake of voting and such. Like I said, I can only provide so many prizes for that category. Rest assured that they will be nice prizes.

I'm going on past experience, but I<3Subie is in charge, so I'll let him decide because I gave him the responsibility to make it happen. Just keep my words in mind.

There aren't enough cars or prizes to constitute that many categories. Perhaps 2 categories, maybe 3 MAX. There just aren't enough cars or prizes, otherwise everyone would win.
1. Best overall
2. Best Sedan
3. Best wagon/hatch

Prizes should be easy to get as vendors can write them off and vendors always have isht around that won't sell... haaaa. Not to mention labor.
Voting and how many divisions is easy.
I will say this... Cleanest ride is kind of.... well... not necessary. The fact that you're winning best overall says you're the cleanest and clean is too open for interpretations. I've been involved in more than a few of these things over the years.
If you want 2. Then do best sedan and best wagon as technically all non impreza cars are not "truly" baIc cars.
Otherwise I'd say take a look at my suggestions earlier. They make sense.
And all this submitting stuff is nonsense. You show up and you're eligible. Then you have the selected judges walk around and make their picks. Otherwise you're gonna need select parking and that is gonna narrow it down to the cars that are nominated and owners than follow through on communications and you'll end up eliminating quality cars.
Take for example a few years ago... Jeff's wagon IPOZESTU probably should have been up for a win as there was NOT another car as "clean" as his there and it had just as many goodies just more tastefully (read stealthy) done as any of the other cars.
We have guys that will come from socal, out of state, etc that might not be aware of all this stuff that have SICK rides.
Other than that... read my other post.
But then again... no one seems to listen to my input anyways.
I'll go cry myself to sleep now.
A stock car has no mods.
As you can see, the cars posted in this thread do have mods. wheels, etc..

plus they said in this thread that if its just wheels and springs and things like that it cant be entered. From what i gathered you had to have extensive mods to get a nomination.

nobody nominated my sexy car

I just put a badass carputer in there with a 7" touch screen, everybody loves my black v9 SpecC seats, and everybody loves the PA system

nobody cares because I don't have suspension mods or engine mods

somebody nominate me for Best Seats, Best PA system, and Best Carputer!

Perhaps we should have a best interior or best stereo slot? Maybe make another thread about interiors and stereo nominations and the people can post pics of their interiors and such, and we can vote on them, they will be seperate from the other cars, but anyone can enter, even people from this thread. Thats just an idea though... It's all up to I<3subie, this is his show right now.
One thing I wanna add thats not related to what I just said. I thought it was really weird that your seats were as wide as they were. All the Japanese STi seats have always followed the bolster pattern that my V6 seats have since its the Japanese market... Why on earth would they widen them for the Japanese market? Especially for the spec C which is supposed to be the most aggressive Subaru there is... It makes no sense. Or do they expect you to remove the seats and stuff in a spec C since they are mostly made into race cars. Sorta like the TR model where the seats and stuff are expected to be removed? I've been thinking about this since the meet... Just doesn't make sense. Did Japanese people suddenly just get fat or something?

Yeah, thats true. I know everyone's cars are special to them, but this is a car show, the best car wins... And springs and wheels wont get you to the top of the list even though they do look good.
