Paul is stepping up with a built motor for this years raffle. Full details will be elaborated by him so everyone knows how and what's going on but here are the essentials of what you need to know.

Built short block. EJ20, EJ255, EJ257... your choice but specs of Paul's choosing. This certificate is NON-TRANSFERABLE. In other words... you can not sell it. There will be a time limit on this as well. You can't just stick the certificate in a box and expect a free motor in 7 years when yours goes boom. You must get the work done at FW Motorsports.

Needless to say... I'm very grateful to Paul. He has always been a friend to the BAIC and to this event. He's always been very generous and that continues this year. I'm stoked that we were able to avoid his wife's birthday this year so I can see his pretty face this year.

He is also going to toss some other goodies in the raffle as well. Shirts. Stickers. Etc.

Thank you Paul for the call.
Woot!!

Raffle list updated. I'm hoping to add quite a bit more in the next couple weeks.

Yeah it's starting to come around. I'll feel a lot more comfortable when I have a bit more of it in my hands. LOL!

Going by Good Luck this weekend to pick up the cert and shirts. Maybe some ink for myself. LOL!

Most of the vendors will just bring stuff with them. I have a line out to quite a few other people. So hopefully they'll jump on board with raffle prizes too.

Oh... crap... I just remembered something I forgot to add.

Pre-orders are officially open. You have from now until July 31st at midnight to order your shirts and sweatshirts. After that point your chances of getting one are slim.

$15/35. All sizes. Make sure you include your screen name and real name when you order.

If you are ordering one and you can not make it to the event I won't be handing your stuff over to someone unless I personally know them/you the situation. I did it last year and some stuff vanished. But don't stress if you can't make the event and still want swag. We'll make it happen. I can do personal delivery or can ship it... but you pay shipping.

A few might remember that we provided a built shortblock a few BAMs ago.
What a ****ing headache; block was sold a few times, people kept calling asking for the build details, etc.
This went on for a few years, thus I was reluctant to provide another block for any following BAM.

Soooooo.....

This year, we'll provide a certificate for a built short block...winner's choice of EJ20/EJ20 Stroker/EJ25...PROVIDED that the installation is done at FW Motorsports, that the work begins within ONE YEAR from winning, the cert is not sold/transferred/loaned/whored out, the cert MUST BE present at time work begins, and a few other restrictions that are pretty obvious.

In short: we will deduct from your bill the cost of the pistons, rings, rods, bearings, oil pump, crank shaft, oil pan, pick up, and seals/o-rings.
About $2900 worth of parts.

Awesome. So there you go folks... that's one massive raffle prize right there.

I'm sure I'm not the only one driving around on a tired motor thinking.... how the hell am I going to afford a new motor. LOL!

Thank you Paul for doing this. Someone is gonna be stoked!
