I havnt ROM'd a phone in over a year now.. kinda weird to think about it lol.
Is kinda nice not having to always mess with something tho.

I'm traveling for work right now and using an unlocked HTC One M8 with a SIM I picked up a some German version of a retarded Fry's. I have to admit I really like this phone. Does this suck? Might have to find one of these or an S3 when I get home because I am feeling the need to have a fancy desktop with info and such. Not against the iPhone, but bored maybe?
Honestly that is pretty much what I got out of being an iPhone user. It just always works and I never had to "do anything" if you are picking up what I am putting down.

I was invited to Google Fi Beta a few months ago.
Got an Nexus 6 (only phone available on the network right now) and kept my Note 3 with VZ. Tried the N6 out for about a month while I still had VZ. Reception area/coverage was on par with VZ but Google had more perks (Reception in my office, true VOIP, cheaper, ect). So after 12 years i dropped Vz and stuck with Fi.
Funny that just a couple months after Google started all this.. Vz has gone away from contracts and moved toward prepay plans much similar to Google.

Man I ****ed up... I just canceled my VZ... Ppl are selling their unlimited data plans by AOLs (assumption of liability aka transfer) on ebay for $1000+! So they would give me a G, then take over the monthly payments and turn the account into their info.. damn I had no idea lol

Interesting, let me know what you first impressions are and how you end up feeling about it.
I have had nothing but reservations when it comes to phablets, however manufactures only seem to be putting higher-end specs into the bigger phones and I can't seem to find anything that is under a 5.5 inch phone that I want. My Nexus 5 has started to show it's age and the 5X is a poor excuse of an upgrade. Interested to see what LG does with the G5.

I was in the same boat. But coming from a Samsung S4 where all the bloatware crap used 75% of my storage, i'm interested to see what a clean android installation looks like.
I'm not concerned about the 'best' camera, or showstopper screen. The camera will be excellent, and the screen will still look great. I just want better performance, less crap and the USB-C charging speeds.

Still using the Oneplus One. On VM13 Marshmellow, pretty good, but since it gave me random reboots I had to change kernels to boeffla and all is well. Just released their stable version of the ROM.
Had a chance to either get the Oneplus Two, but wasn't impressed with the price point for the upgrades even though it's a good bang for the buck. Stuck with the current phone.
Also didn't like the Oneplus X that although you get a cheaper phone had some good stuff built in, I figured nothing too major to switch from the current phone.
I would personally get a new Android phone like the Samsung or something and root and get rid of the bloat ware and install VM13. Been the goto for half a year now.
