BUT anyways... it will prolly be a world phone soon

They are working on code to activate the GSM radios that come installed in the phone. So far a few ppl have gotten txt/voice capabilities, but no data. I havnt followed this thread in the last week or so, but they should be continuing to make progress on it

***UPDATED***Droid Bionic, Razr, Droid 4 can work on AT&T, T-Mobile and any GSM - xda-developers
just picked up an HTC ONE X at ATT. i have grandfathered unlim data (i'm already working on my small claims... lol...) so...
sprint doesnt have 4g yet.
have another 7 months to go on current contract before i can bail ATT.
i really like this ONE X except for 2 reasons:
1. no switchable battery.
2. no micro SD slot...
both are deal killers. the SD slot is even more since i listen to hour long mixes and i have like 20gb of audio and continuously adding to it.
now i feel like i'm back on my iphone 3G with 16gb and removing and adding new mixes... sigh...
android ICS kicks ***. dual core is even better. 4g LTE... WOW
but i might have to give it up. dang deal killers...

As for the removable battery, how big is it?
It wouldnt surprise me if someone comes along for an upgrade for it. Just like the Razr's battery isnt "removable", it still is. Its easy enough to take it out and swap in a Maxx battery if you have the basic common sense and are good with your hands
Why didint you say you needed it to be a world phone??
