oem short throw shifter with aftermarket lever?

oem short throw shifter with aftermarket lever?
My new 2013 wrx came with a sti short throw shifter as a dealer package and I was wondering if it's possible to change just the lever to something like a kartboy lever? In the pamphlet it looks like the oem sts is more than just a lever. I had the kartboy sts on my old 07 wrx and liked the throw length on that better. The oem sts doesn't seem that short of a throw.
