Mobil 1. Used it on my 05 sti, saw track put 45k on the car, Had perfect compression.
Current 06 sti, perfect compression uses mobil 1.
Why you shouldn't trust people who tell you mobil 1 sucks? Because they are the same people who tell you its normal for the subaru to burn a quart of oil a month.
I've used mobil 1 on all my subies, never had an engine problem, my subarus have never burned oil.

I don't want to start another oil war, so I'm just going to point out observations. Rotella T6 has proven time and time again through Blackstone UOAs that it can be in our motors for 7k miles no problem. Mobil 1 has a tendency to shear down to a 20 weight in the turbo Subies. If you change your oil every 3k miles, then I don't think it'll be a big issue.
I'm lazy, however, so if I can get 7k miles out of Rotella T6 for the same price as the Mobil 1 and there are no cons to using it, I'm going to use Rotella.

US market mobil 1 formula is not the same as the rest of the better quality mobil 1 out there, just fyi. I have noticed I burned about a quart an oil change with mobil 1 in the past, other than that no engine problems.
I now just use Rotella T6 and change regularly around 4k.
