Do you mean "non-equal length" headers?
Otherwise known in English as "unequal length" headers?

Unequal length is like stock and means you get to keep that subie rumble.

Equal length provides better spool, but makes the car sound more like a Honda and less like a Subaru. Most people don't like the way it sounds. I had a Perrin Equal length and didn't mind the sound since I gained nice power on my 30r, but I did miss the Subie grumble

as you can tell from the non-length design has a few flaws such as non existing spoolup... and im fairly certain you will exceed the legal decible limit
