Just wondering...did the car have an alarm? If so, which one?

sux big time! sorry to hear
When my motorcycle was stolen last May, OPD responded within 20 minutes, and did a great job. Found my bike 3 days later, totaled, but they found it.

Good luck with this! Hopefully it was just towed.

Well nothing yet I called the opd as soon as I noticed it missing I'm sure they would have told me it was just towed if indeed it was towed plus it was in my driveway.

Man that sucks. I had same thing happen to me a few months back, I paid off my car and about 3 months later one night when i was out of town my car got towed away. Neighbor said that some company took it for not making payments. I was seriously confused and called chase, they found the mistake and returned my car within a few hours of that phone call. May be you can call your bank and see if there was an issue.

I'm on board with this one. If my car went missing I don't think I'd be crying about it. Sure, it would be a hassle, but one well worth it in the end.

I disagree... you lose all of the money that you've put into it, you just get the depreciated value and most people today are upside down on their vehicles, so unless you have gap insurance you're screwed.

I have gap. So I'm not worried about it.

and mine's paid off.

believe me- I've already lost a lot of the money I've put into mine

If I'm lucky I might get nearly what I just paid for a replacement engine out of an insurance claim, but not much chance of selling it for that ever...
