When GRM show up at my door, it was like an old friend. Check the article about the racer at 25hr that damn near got cooked to death. It was pretty scary, seeing the pics of the aftermath is "like whoa".
The last issue of SS I got was on DVD, I called them and complained. "How am I supposed to take a DVD to the ****ter with me?" I informed them I will not renew with this format.

The main difference is news != editorial content. You can listen to any jack-hole pontificate about anything on the internet and you can get news up to the minute on the internet from twityrs or facepage or youporn or whatever, but a professional writer is going to write a compelling article and that is what magazines offer that you cant get anywhere else... until its uploaded to the website the following month.
Getting compelling editorial content now >>>>> waiting a month for it to come online
speaking of SCC, I'm so disappointed Modified Mag absorbed them. It totally sucks still. The format is trying to be SCC but dumbed down, which totally sucks as it doesn't discuss the technical details anymore. Rather it summarizes a complex concept in a really simply way; what can I draw from modified that I can't find from the 'net? I guess that can be said about most printed periodicals out there, but it seems like modified just wikis their assigned subject and uses the 'synonym' function on word to write their articles.
