Its def still not the cheapest 240Z you can pick up, but you couldnt find a straight one and restore it yourself and get it set up the way he has it for anywhere near 20K. Its def going to be the right car at the right price for just a few people
Cheers to that. As someone who makes a point to make JCCS every time I can, it's nice/horrible to see this happening. It's nice because they are finally getting the respect they deserve and horrible to think of the choice rides I have let go for nothing combined with the fact that if I ever find another pristine '71 Celica, I won't be able to afford it. I was pretty much blown away when my last 1st Gen Celica project was hunted down and purchased from me, mid build, for 2x what I had in the car. It was then that I knew something was changing. That car now is running around Austin, TX powered by a twin turbo 1UZFE.

Damn, I wish I had 11K+ laying around for such a beautiful car... It's the first car I actually ever loved... I remember moving to the USA back in 87 and my neighbor had one that he "raced", whatever that meant... I remember the headlights being so awesomely beautiful. Man, I was so happy when I'd get to go for a ride in it...

and of course now there's a dream 240 for sale at a really awesome price and I can't do a damn thing about it because I'm MARRIED. Let it be a lesson to the rest of you...

Everyone here who can't buy the car is either because they are broke, or because they are married. Or both.
