Have you guys driven trinity road from santa rosa to Napa? It's a pretty cool route unless you get stuck behind a truck, which shouldn't be too much of a problem on a weekend. Lots of hairpin and banked turns

It's actually Goat Rock, right where the Russian River spits into the Pacific. State park Road extends out from Hwy 1 to that little spot.

I might be able to make this. I have not done a drive in a long while. My car would look quite out of place though.....'96 GF wagon. It does have an STi engine however, although its a 2.0L.

 

A suby is a suby. The more the merrier. I need to bug Roo and Pleiades, evsoul, and a bunch of other locals. Hopefully we can make this drive/meet big.

Guys you have to start posting these get togethers as "DRIVES". because there are many guys like myself that don't waste our times going to "meets". I missed the last one because it was lost somewhere in the "north of the gate" thread and after about 3 pages of that i gave up on it and never looked back.

I've been putting on "drives" for the i-club and the North Bay for about 4 years now. Getting guys coming from far away (san jose, davis, santa cruz etc...) just to do a drive on the best roads in the bay.

marshall/petaluma rd
chileno valley
tin bar rd
etc


Can't make this one. Only have a set of all weathers right now which i use for dirt and will be using on my drive on Jan 20th. Come along if you are looking for mud and dirt.

put me down as maybe. it really depends on the route and distance. if it's a 50 mi drive, most likely yes but if its 100+ mi epic drive, i doubt it.
