I haven't smogged mine yet...

Time to replace my cats with a straight pipe!! jk... catless RS's get raspy. Probably a cheap high flow cat from an exhaust shop will tide me over till I get swapped.

Delightful news indeed for WRX warriors. Makes sense for most cars. Smog checks are also getting to be very expensive and a big hassle now. Here's the CA DMV link....
